Steamy VALVe Goodness

So a bunch of great news came out of VALVe HQ yesterday. Yea, I'm a bit behind in the scoop releaving, but at least I try.

They announced the new Steamcloud system that will allow the saving of game configs and saved games on the Steam backend. That way, if you have to reinstall a game, or install to a new system, your already set to pick up right where you left off. I think this is great, but I'll be kinda sad, because whenever I reinstall a game I give it a play to get all the chapters unlocked and just enjoy the game again. But I'm just being picky, I'll just delete the saves and start over. And now I don't have to sit there for an hour trying to remember what my mouse sensitivity is. Was it 15? No, maybe 10. No.... Damnit!

They also let out a bit of TF2 news, telling us that 'Meet the Sniper' will be the next release in the 'Meet The...' series. Word is that it's the funniest of to date. I can only imagine, cause Meet the Scout was pretty damn funny. That should be poping up around the time of the next achievement pack, which I have seen mentioned in a few places may be Pyro. W00t's all around!

Pro, at Procrastination

So I spent my Monday working on the next two O/P comics. Then I told McNaire that he should get Friday's done soon, cause he might need the extra time for Mondays. Then I slacked off for a few days before I actually finished it. But now I have, ha!

Oh, I saw on a site I frequent, which had found it on a site they frequent. And we all seem to think it's greatness.

There was more, but I forgot what else I was gonna say...

Budget Cuts.

So I had to cut McNaires budget, and well... This comic is a 'Use Your Imagine' release.



Therefor, I'm happy to announce McNaires budget has been reinstated, plus 5%. See the thrilling conclusion to 'Bridging the Boot' tomorrow.

I was thinking today of redoing it, because there are parts that bug the crap out of me. OPinion?

You know, I was playing some KotOR the other night, and I saw this guy, and I thought to myself. "That is a wretched skin job on that model. The model itself is wretched!" Really it is, look at his freakin neck!

Made a few site changes today.

1)Removed the Episode List on the right.
2)Removed the Opti face from the right, bio page to be added later.
3)Removed the Pessi face from the right, bio page to be added later.
4)Added "The Opti-Pessi Comic Book" link to the right.
5)Added "Special Airings" to the right.
5)Minor layout adjustments.
6)Ended Source Game poll.

The new 'Comic Book' is a separate page you can check out for the latest comics. Set up for easy reading, it contains all the Episodes(minus the Holiday Special, now listed under 'Special Airings') We will no longer be posting the new comics on this site, here you will find news, polls, random ramblings, etc.

Portal won the poll, look for Opti and Pessi to visit the world of Chell and GLaDOS sometime soon. Also look for more polls, some comic based some just random.

Greatest TF2 Tag "Ever"

This has got to be one of the best TF2 Tags I have seen.



Keep in mind I don't count the "Is Not A Spy" Tags, even though they are awesome. But only when they work and the Spy gets the back stab, otherwise they are just kinda annoying. My current Tag is a smaller version of the Spy Short, but I'm growing tired of it and am looking for something new.

"Also" I added a new link to the "Places of Merit", for those that bother to scroll down that far.
The “Blog” of “Unnecessary” Quotation Marks You don't even have to go more than a couple of posts down before you find yourself laughing, uncontrollably sometimes. It's a great daily read. "Seriously".
